One day trip to Bilikal ranganathaswamy betta, Chunchi falls and Sangama

PlaceRanganathaswamy betta, Chunchi falls and Sangama
Distance: 130 KMs one way

We started the trip at 5 am, 83 KMs, 2 Bikes (Suzuki Gixxer and Pulsar NS 220) from yeshwanthpur, via Kanakpura Road and reached Bilikal ranganathaswamy betta Basepoint at 7.45,

We were allowed only after taking permission from the forest department as the way ahead was very dangerous. There were 7-8 members waiting for the permission, after 5 minutes of wait the guard collected everyone's bike number, for security purpose. Then I started my bike and moved towards the hilltop.

The roads were worst, but was a good experience of the off-roading, if you are the one searching a place for off-road drive, Bilikal Ranganatha betta is the one to go with. We found fresh dung of elephants, which was the confirmation that elephant habitation was very active. I personally recommend visiting this place in the group to be on the safer side. Also carry water bottles, some snacks, and food, as there are no shops available. The off-road was around 2 KM, from the start point. As the place was nearing, there was a cool breeze, then finally we reached the viewpoint, it was just amazing. We spent some time over there, took few snaps,

White Granite

Ranganathaswamy temple

Also, there is a Ranganathaswamy temple which is underneath a huge white granite, hence the named as Bilikal. Then we decided to head towards Chunchi falls, which was 40 KMs from Bilikal betta. We had our Breakfast on the way in Vasu hotel, which was really worst.

After the long ride of 40 KMs towards chunchi falls, we reached the spot, we had to walk around a Km to the falls viewpoint. After reaching the point I personally forgot the tiredness and enjoyed the beauty of falls, We spent some time there, Drank a masala curd, got some energy,  then decided to go towards Sangama, which was 16 KMs from chunchi falls. We were not allowed to go near water in chunchi falls,

But sanagama was a bit different, we were allowed to enter the water, we spent some time in the water, which was really needed after riding for so long, also there are fresh fish fries available. We tried it, it was really tasty. Also had our lunch there and then headed back to Bangalore. We reached Bangalore around 5.30. the place is really good, for a one day trip. I would rate 100 for the place.
